What Our Clients Says

The approach Steven developed—blending creativity, professionalism, and compassion—forms the foundation of every facilitator we send into care homes.”

Stephen is an exceptional music performer whose energy and passion shine through every event. He has a rare gift for connecting with people, especially those with autism and learning disabilities. His eccentric and jovial nature instantly lights up the room, creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels included. What makes Stephen stand out is his person-centred approach. He doesn’t just perform; he engages with individuals on their level, communicating through music in a way that feels natural and meaningful. The young people he works with are always eager for more—so much so that they often ask him to extend his sessions.Dedicated, friendly, and endlessly creative, Stephen has a remarkable ability to bring joy and connection through his performances. I would wholeheartedly recommend him for both private and community events.

Kiran Sakho Director Step Together

Steven provides music therapy for my residents with autism and learning disability on a weekly basis. The key is Steven understands there needs, identifies their cues and triggers and has over a period of time developed a positive working relationship with them. He demonstrates person centred care through his interactions with all my residents. First and foremost Steven Steven is a gifted musician that understands how to get the best out of people. He plays various instruments he brings along with him and encourages the residents to play and sing along. Some residents initially did not show much interest in music and are now actively engaging in this activity. They all eagerly look forward to Steven arriving for music therapy and I think it’s one of their favourite activities during the week. The staff also thoroughly enjoy these sessions as it uplifts the mood within the home. I think he is kind and approachable. I’m very impressed with the way he adapts each song to engage the residents. Steven’s experience and skills puts him in good stead to keep the smile on our faces and joy in our hearts.
